The membership of the Supervisory Board of HypoVereinsbank (UniCredit Bank AG) has changed.
Gianni Franco Papa was already elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board of HypoVereinsbank (UniCredit Bank AG) on 29 July 2016. He took over as Chairman of the Supervisory Board on 11 August 2016, succeeding Federico Ghizzoni, who resigned from his mandate as at 10 August 2016 and from the Supervisory Board of HypoVereinsbank.
Gianni Franco Papa has already been a member of HypoVereinsbank's Supervisory Board since May 2015. At present he is Deputy General Manager of UniCredit and Head of the Corporate and In-vestment Banking Division; from 1 September 2016 he will be re-sponsible as General Manager for all business-related activities of the Group.
Paolo Cornetta, Head of HR Strategy at UniCredit, was newly elected to the Supervisory Board of HypoVereinsbank effective as of 30 August 2016.
The new member Paulo Cornetta was elected for the residual term of the mandate of the resigning member Federico Ghizzoni, that is until the close of the Annual General Meeting, at which a resolution is to be adopted to ratify the actions of the Supervisory Board for the 2019 financial year. Following the changes, the Supervisory Board remains to be composed at parity with six representatives each from the employee and shareholder sides. The other members are: Mirko Davide Georg Bianchi, Beate Dura-Kempf, Klaus Grünewald, Werner Habich, Prof. Dr Annette Köhler, Dr Marita Kraemer, Klaus-Peter Prinz, Florian Schwarz (Deputy Supervisory Board Chairman), Dr Wolfgang Sprißler (Deputy Supervisory Board Chairman), Jens-Uwe Wächter.
